For example, you may show that you comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 by carrying out environmental risk assessments to ensure the safety of staff, service users and visitors to your setting.

Compliance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) 2014 may be demonstrated by showing how you deliver person-centred care, with dignity and respect and by obtaining consent before performing any healthcare tasks.

Challenging discrimination could demonstrate your responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 and working with a service user to ensure that they are able to make decisions for themselves could demonstrate that you follow the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
