To ensure that your knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding and protection of children is up-to-date, you may need to access information, guidance and support.
In addition, systems and processes vary slightly between geographical regions and healthcare organisations, so you may need to become acquainted with the way children’s safeguarding and protection are handled by your employer and local authority.
Regular training and refresher courses can support your understanding of children’s safeguarding.
