For this assessment criterion, you will be required to critically review current leadership and management practice and make recommendations that inform their strategic operational practice.
This means looking at how leadership and management within your organisation lead the development of community relationships and integrated working to provide better outcomes for individuals receiving care and support.
You will need to look at both the strengths and weaknesses of your organization’s current systems, processes and policies with regards to community engagement and partnership working and provide recommendations about how they may be improved.
For example, you may keep the local community informed about your services by posting regular newsletters, however, you may have not utilised technology such as email or social media, which would have a wider reach as well as reduce costs.
Such recommendations can then be used to inform leadership and management practice going forward.
