For this assessment criterion, you will need to be able to show that you record individual assessments in line with the agreed format documented in your organisation’s policies and procedures.
To ensure that the assessment process adheres to legislation and best practice and that assessments are recorded in a universal, internally-agreed format, your organisation will have documented policies and procedures. As an employee, it is essential that you follow these agreed ways of working.
Your organisation may use paper assessments, although it is more likely that this will have moved to digital assessments. These could be as simple as word documents or you may use a proprietary computer system to record assessments.
Working in line with policies and procedures will ensure that everybody works in the same way and that information is stored securely, in line with data protection legislation. It will also ensure that information is retrievable by all authorised persons that may need to access it.
