Working in partnership with individuals with autism is essential to establish their unique needs and preferences and ensure that they have control over what they do with their lives.

It is also important to work in partnership with other stakeholders, such as the individual’s family and other professionals (e.g. GPs, local authority representatives, dieticians etc.) All of these people will have the shared vision of improving the quality of life of the individual and will have something to offer.
