At the planning stage, you will collaborate with a group of stakeholders to identify what changes need to be made and establish the boundaries based on the values and culture of the organisation. By ensuring that everyone understands the core values of the organisation, goals can be set which align with the organisation’s overarching vision.

Implementing

Once goals and objectives have been established, you will put the plan into action. This will involve effectively communicating the plan to team members and explaining the reasons for the decisions that have been made – because decisions will be based on the organisation’s values and vision, you will have the opportunity to promote and reinforce them within the team. You should also listen to and value the views of team members and be prepared to answer any questions that they ask.
